Peter Wuffli is founder and chairman of elea Foundation, a philanthropic impact investment organization with the purpose to fight absolute poverty with entrepreneurial means.

Peter also serves on the boards of Sygnum Bank and the Zürich Opera House. In addition he is Honorary Chairman of IMD (a global business school in Lausanne).

Previously, Peter was Partner at McKinsey & Company and CEO of UBS Group, as well as Chairman of Partners Group and of IMD.

Peter earned a Ph.D. in economics from University of St. Gallen. He regularly publishes articles and books on themes of globalization, ethics, impact investing and leadership.

Susanna Wuffli graduated from the University of Zurich with a PhD in Law. Subsequently, she was admitted to the bar in the Canton of Zurich. Before founding her family, she worked at a District Court and in different law firms. While raising the three children, she got involved with several organizations where she contributed her legal expertise.

During 17 years Susanna served on the board of the elea Foundation for Ethics in Globalization, which she co-founded in 2006.

Today she is a member of the Church Board in her home town. Her hobbies include playing the violin in an orchestra and singing in a choir.

Beat Wuffli is focused on the intersection of technology and business and particularly excited about entrepreneurial opportunities arising from new technological developments. Since writing his first lines of code at age 15, he continues to be fascinated by the potential and power of IT to change the world.

Previously, he worked at Sygnum where he joined the startup as an early employee and pioneered the Tokenization efforts of the bank. Prior to this, he worked for several years at Altium (now part of Houlihan Lokey) in various M&A transactions with a focus on raising capital for entrepreneurial companies.

Beat Wuffli holds an MBA from UC Berkeley and a Bachelors degree in economics from the University of St. Gallen.

Arianne Egger-Wuffli holds a Master of Law from the University of Lucerne and was admitted to the bar in the Canton of Lucerne. Currently she is working at the District Court of Zurich, where she is involved in various legal areas.

In addition she is a member of the Board of Trustees of the elea Foundation for Ethics in Globalization.

Before, during and after her studies, Arianne has spent extended periods of time in Ecuador, Austin (TX) and South Africa. In her free time she enjoys skiing, snowboarding, rollerblading and singing.

In 2016, Daniel co-founded Zunder ZMG GmbH, a niche consumer goods business that manufactures flavoured toothpick as refreshment and/or smoking cessation aid. Now Managing Director of the company, he oversees balancing the company’s social ethos with maintaining and increasing profitability.

Alongside working on and for Zunder, Daniel graduated with a bachelor’s in business administration at the University of St. Gallen. He has an international outlook, having spent extended periods of time abroad, namely in the USA, Taiwan and Thailand.
